Grandma Great
Sometimes I am sad that we live in Provo while most of my family lives so far away, like Alabama and Oklahoma. But Michael and I feel really blessed that we have such great family here. Kiara, my aunts and uncles, and my cousins. But we feel really blessed that Avery is going to know two of her great grandparents. How many kids out there can say they know their grandparents, much less their great grandparents. Especially mine. They are amazing (on both sides of course). My grandma spends all of her day helping anyone and everyone that comes her way. She is always helping her grandkids with homework! She invests so much time with the family that it is amazing. My grandpa spends a lot of his time refining himself. How many people start playing the violin in their 70s and keep going so they can become better? They are two of the most amazing people I know and I love them so much and feel so blessed that they are in our lives, just 20 minutes away.
Grandma always has fun toys. Always.
Laughing away with Grandma Great.
Grandma always makes us delicious meals when we visit her and we go to her house at least one Sunday a month. We went there for Conference last week and Avery and Grandma Great had some fun times together.
Kisses from Grandma Great. Look at those cute chub thighs! Gotta love them!
Giving back some sweet slobbery kisses.

4 Months of Growing
Avery is 4 months! Yahoo! How time flies! We went to the doctors today and had to get some very owie shots. The doctor scared Avery and she cried a bit when he checked her. But she loved the nurse until she gave her SHOTS out of nowhere! Avery was not too pleased about that. The doctor said that she is big healthy baby. Avery is a whopping 15lbs 14oz and 25 inches.
Here are some of Avery's 4 month old accomplishments:

Little O' Cutie
is also known as little o' poopie.
Today we decided to head to Old Navy to check out the 40% off sale. I was super excited and invited my friend Deidre and her little boy Cayman to come. So we headed off. When we got to Old Navy we found out that both are babies were pretty ripe. Avery has this thing that if she is in the car for more than 10 minutes she does a huge blow out poop. Without fail. I should have remembered this from our episode on our way to Grandma's house on Sunday, but didn't and forgot to pack extra clothes. So we decide to go change the little stinkers and Cayman had barely made a mess, whereas Avery had poop up to her shoulders. The runny kind that just gets EVERYWHERE. When I was taking off her onesie some dripped into her hair. Sorry for the gorey details. So I had to buy a new outfit for Avery (oh darn), but everything cute had already been picked over so we settled for cheap. This is where St. Patrick's day had blessed our lives. We paid a little over a dollar for this shirt and we are ever so thankful for its fresh scent.

Easter...
Better late than never, right?
For Easter we headed up to Idaho Falls to be with Michael's family. We were there for just over 24 hours but it was a much needed break and we had a great time. We hadn't been there since Christmas so it was fun to see everyone together again. We missed Natalie and her family though! Church was great and Easter dinner was even better, thanks to Mom Adams. After dinner came the most anticipated event of the day. The Adams' family Easter egg hunt. The grand prize $20. This was mine and Avery's first hunt. We were super excited. Michael was excited. The rest of the grandkids were even more excited. It was definitely an experience and we are excited to do it again! Here are some pictures of our Easter day!
People always comment on how beautiful Avery's eyes are. They are this crystal blue color and seriously gorgeous. This picture captures just a glimpse of their beauty.
Here is our little family. Super cute, huh!?
Right before the Easter egg hunt. We were trying to get Avery in the Bjorn carrier but they said GO before we were ready so Avery was hanging out halfway while we went crazy trying to get eggs. Michael told me to only pick up eggs because that is where the money is... haha. He told me no candy or toys, just eggs. I got so into it I ended up pushing my nephew out of the way to get a juicebox that had a dollar attached to it. Sad competitive me.
Here is Avery, finally all the way in the Bjorn, with Dad and Uncle David.
We ended up getting $19 and lots of candy. A successful Easter hunt. Thanks Easter bunny!
Kisses from cousin Austin after the hunt. He loved Avery so much. He would keep poking her and sometimes she would smile and sometimes she would cry.
As you can tell from the pictures above we really had a super time. Avery loves all her cousins and they love her. It is fun to have family somewhat close. We are excited for school to be over so we can spend more time with them!
